How Contact Tracking Works
ReachDraft automatically tracks who you've contacted, helping you avoid embarrassing duplicate messages.
How It Works
When you use "Insert to LinkedIn" to send a message, ReachDraft automatically:
- Records the contact's name and profile URL
- Saves a preview of the message you sent
- Notes the date and message type
Where You'll See Contact Status
On Individual Profiles
When viewing a LinkedIn profile you've previously contacted:
- A green "Contacted" badge appears next to their name
- You can see the date you last contacted them
- Click to view the message you sent
In Batch Mode
When using Batch Mode on search results:
- Previously contacted profiles show a badge
- They're unchecked by default
- You can still select them if you want to follow up
What Gets Tracked
- Name: The contact's name
- Profile URL: Their LinkedIn profile link
- Headline: Their job title/headline
- Message Preview: First part of the message sent
- Message Type: Connection, Message, or Email
- Date: When you contacted them
Privacy
Your contact history is:
- Stored locally in your browser
- Not synced to our servers
- Not shared with anyone
- Deletable at any time
Tip: Contact tracking only works when you use "Insert to LinkedIn." If you copy and paste manually, the contact won't be tracked automatically.
