Editing Profile Data
Sometimes the automatic scan might miss something or you want to add extra context. You can manually edit all profile data.
How to Edit
After opening ReachDraft on a profile:
- Look at the profile information section at the top
- Click on any field to edit it (name, title, company, etc.)
- Make your changes
- Changes are automatically saved when you click away
What You Can Edit
- Name: Correct spelling or use a nickname they prefer
- Title: Simplify or clarify their role
- Company: Add context about their company
- Additional context: Add notes about recent posts, shared connections, etc.
When to Edit
Consider editing when:
- The scan missed important information
- You want to add context that wasn't on the page
- You know something personal (like how they prefer to be addressed)
- Their profile has limited visibility
- You want to reference something specific they said
Manual Entry
If you're not on a LinkedIn profile (or the scan didn't work), you can still use ReachDraft:
- Open the extension
- Click "Manual Entry" or enter information directly
- Fill in the name and any other details you know
- Generate your message
Tip: Adding specific details about a recent post or achievement they mentioned leads to much better personalization than generic profile info.
